Everyone is now allowed to get a free credit report from each cra once a year.The powers that be should of included a free credit score as well.There is no reason that there has to be 3 credit reporting agencies.It would make life a lot easier if there was only one.The more people who have your credit information on file the more confusing they make it.Imagine if there were 5,6 or seven cra's?The fico score is a money making scam.When it comes to cra's one is enough if some would argue 3 is better than why not have 5,6 or seven.Peoples credit information should not be subjected to the walmart philosophy of the buisness industry.
There are a lot MORE than 7 CRAs... The credit score is optional for one reason, it's the only way that the industry would support the FACR rules; just like the 15 day FACR-based dispute extension...
