Re: Creditnet glossary (for newbies)

I'm a newbie...and although I read the definition of a "Tradeline", I was still a bit clueless of exactly "what" it was. I found this on the net and thought I would share it with the other "Newbies", especially if they are like me and need the CreditNet DUMMIES Book. :-)

Tradeline typically includes a customer's name, address, date of birth, telephone number, Social Security number, account type, opening date of account, credit limit, account status, and payment history.

Also, can someone clarify that when you ask for removal, you are requesting ommission of the information in the "Status Details" section of the CRs? Thanks for all the advice I have been reading on this site. I feel like I can come out of the corner and remove my "dunce" cap and start my journey to the 700 Club!

TL equals TradeLine.

A trade line is a debt or account listed on a credit report.

A place or company to get your 3 in one credit reports from.
3 in one means information from each of the big 3 CRAs.
They call it a tri merged report.

A pull is when someone obtains your credit report.
