Re: Boosting scores for mortgage app

Wow! This is what I was wondering about myself. If the cc companies report the balances before then end of the billing cycyle or at the end of the billing cycle. Then if I pay all my balanaces online before the billing cycle close, I can improve my credit score dramatically.

This is what I need to do now!

Re: Boosting scores for mortgage app

If reporting is at the end of the billing cycle, I had it all wrong. I thought CCC's submitted at the end of the month. If this be the case, any idea's just how many days before the end of the cycle to pay off balances?

This brings a another question that I'm trying to figure out. I thought FICO changed as the CB's received thier information. I had a mortgage appear with no change from EQ. when it appeared, but about a week later my score dropped from 706 to 694 with no other changes. EXP. dropped from 731 to 729 the day it appeared.

Also strange is that EQ. started dropping from 721 to 706 over a months time. 721, 718, 714, 712, 706 then 694 about a week after the Mtg. appeared.

BTW I think spel chek is GREAT!
