I thought I saw someone post that you could get 10% off at Home Depot inside a change of address kit at the post office. I picked one up today and there is a 10% off offer but it is for Lowes. No big deal because I just got a Lowes account, but I would really like to get my hands on a Home Depot 10% off deal. Anyone know how?
DaveLV, I got the deal about 6 months ago. I guess that HD and Lowe's are fighting for advertising. HD is hurting, I think, they are having great in-store unadvertised sales. I like Lowe's better, because of quality, and I have a friend that works there, 20% off, but HD's in-store specials can't be beat right now. Sorry for the old info! Charlie
I took the change of address kit in to Home Depot today and spoke with the person at the credit desk. He told me they would match the Lowe's offer. So now I have 10% off at Lowes AND at Home Depot.
hmmmmm that's one way to go Dave. Actually, the 10% coupons are in the "Welcome to the Neighborhood" kit that the PO sends to you new place after they process your COA. We got 2 coupons since we have different last names. Got 10% off for Home Depot, KMart, some freebies from the local ACE Hardware as well as the usual crap--checks, alarm system installation etc.
The COA kit says you can either call 877-62-LOWES or visit http://www.lowes.com/relocation to request the coupon
Hey, this works....I just got mine after about two weeks of waiting. Went to the following link, checked the box at the bottom indicating that I was planning to move: <https://www.lowes.com/lkn?action=createUser&rn=none&rn=none>
