I am about to order credit reports for my husband. I have researched the site and have found serveral places to get reports, however, after looking at the samples, I didn't see one with all the info I wanted (ie: last date of activity, score). I would like to know which one you all found the most useful. Thanks

    Hi,

I have this link, but I have not taken advantage of the offer:

It is from Equifax with the 3 in 1 offer.

    https://www.econsumer.equifax.com/w...onsumerProducts?^start=&orderSource=ETD&PP=P6

It would seem that you would do better getting each of your 3 reports.

Someone posted they had cleaned up their 3 individual reports and ordered a 3 in 1 report and found alot of different info.

    Whatever happens, good luck...

YES, I totally agree! I would recommend ordering each of your reports directly from the source (eg. Equifax,Experian,& TransUnion) AT LEAST for your first report that you get. Subsequent reports can be ordered throught the monitoring services or tri-merged etc...

    Reasons:
    1) The 3 separate reports can be ordered for the same $ or cheaper (free if you have been denied credit or live in certain states...some states have reduced costs for reports) - even if you have to pay full price for the individual reports, the 3 separate reports will cost you about 25 bux, the tri merge costs 29.95.

    2) The tri-merged reports AND reports from some of the monitoring services, are derived from a 3rd party company compiling data from the databases of the CRA's. Wouldn't it make sense to get the info straight from the horses mouth?....instead of getting possible errors and omissions that can result from the 3rd parties software or glitches, or whatever.

    3) See this post on what happens if you get your report from Ex/Eq/TU and a tri-merged report or mortgage agent later tells you something different is on your reports.

Therefore, for your first report I definitely recommend you order a hard copy straight from each of the 3 main CRA's or affiliates (like CBC for Equifax).

    -Peace, Dave
