How does one go about removing an old address from their CR? I lived in this address from 8/99-8/00. My name was on the lease along with my roommates. Is this impossible?
Yes, I have written and told them, look I have never lived there.Period. They will say some garbage like we have to investigate, which means they will see if at least two of your creditors are reporting that address. If yes, it stays, if no,it goes. I really do not believe that the 3 self righteous keepers of info are going to go looking for a lease. If a utility reports that address it might be tough, but otherwise it has not been to difficult for me. One trick that I have found is I use my mother's address as my permanent residence and use where I live for everything. When I first started to dispute utilities, I would say look I have never lived there and guess why? because the phone number and residence I have had have been the same for 12 years. (My mother's phone is in my name) I go there alot, why should she have to pay to talk to me.
