Hello everyone, about 4 years my wife and I both got over our heads in Credit card debt, actually after they (all of them) hiked up the interest rates on most of our cards and we couldn't pay them anymore we decided to look into bankruptcy, found a local att. and everything went smooth, paid it off in three years, was sent our clean record and I thought ok that's that... well after a year I ended up taking a fall and broke my arm in two places, horrible hospital bills and doctor bills, Paid the doctor bill off monthly but couldn't do anything about the hospital because we didn't have a drop of health insurance... Of course they placed it in our brand new credit report as debt of about 16k dollars for a day and half in the hospital and I understand there's not much I can do about it however after getting a secured card from Capital One and starting the repair of our credit I went on their credit tracker and noticed all the old bankruptcy debts are actually showing but showing up as 00.00 balances ... all except ONE and it only says US BK RMS CC with a balance showing like 3,700.00 my question is first of all WHO is this, second ALL of my creditors were listed in the bankruptcy and ALL of my creditors were notified of it and everything was dismissed and cleared thru the courts, Why is this showing up in my credit file as $3,700.00 of debt? On Trans Union?
    Thanks for any info,

I believe US BK RMS CC stands for US Bank. Give them a call to see why $3,700 is showing up on your credit report.

I'm curious if you ever found out why the US Bank credit card debt was still showing up on your credit reports with a $3,700 balance. Were you ever able to find out more information? And if so, would you be willing to come back and let us know what you discovered?
