Just upgraded my Alaska Airlines Platinum Visa to the Signature Card! And it was so easy!

No further qualifications to fulfill or info to provide, no credit report pulled!

I just called and requested it! Bank of America will deliver my new card by Fed-Ex on Sat.

Plus, I received a Bonus 2,500 miles and a bunch of extra goodies!

(On a side-note, I also called BOA customer retention to request a CLI. I wanted an extra 6K for a 12K total. Since my acct has only been opened for 5 mths, they had to pull a CR -- transunion, my best at 725 PG fako! I got the increase... I'm a happy guy! And all this after struggling to get a measly $200 CLI out of Cap One on a 5+ yr old account at 3.4K!)

***THANK YOU, C-NETTERS FOR ALL YOUR GREAT ADVICE RE: BOA!!! THIS WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE W/O ALL OF YOU! THIS IS MY FIRST PRIME CARD AND MY HIGHEST LIMIT!***

What state do you live in that BofA pulled TU?

If they do that here I might go for an increase and upgrade on my US Airways card.

    Hi!

I live in CA... when I first mailed in the application for the AL Airlines Platinum card, BOA pulled EXP. Since I have a 5-yr old ch-7 BK on my CR, I was denied. However, I called Robin Brickland and she reviewed and opened up the acct for me!

On the CLI, I called BOA Retention Dept, and they pulled TU for another score!

Plus, they also mentioned that I would be receiving a balance transfer check with my next statement @ the prime rate, currently 4%variable for the life of the BT.

This, my friend, completes the hat trick, trifecta, or triple double!
