On the green card (pif each month) got behind on a balance of about 2k paid it (not a settlement) off before it went to write off/charge off status, account went closed by grantor. All charges were not in when we paid the 2k now cb shows small balance of 226.00. Would the "oasis" program help get this card back by paying the 226.00 owed? And if so what credit line do you think they'd give 100??? We are trying to rebuild our credit and need to establish positive credit lines to improve our scores. TIA
No We haven't because I wasn't sure if this small amount would qualify for the oasis program. I did see the requirements for the oasis program and we're fine with meeting the requirements to be in the program. Anyone else ever went through the oasis with such a small balance?
Just my opinion, but in the time it takes for someone to respond you could be on the phone--and off again--with AMEX's OASIS customer service dept. I did it with a larger balance, so my experience won't help with your specific question.
