Hi guys, Clicked on the banner here last night on credit net and applied for the Amex Blue card after reading about the terms and such. Was approved instantly!! Their account security department called and verified some information and said yep, you are approved you should get it in 7-10days!! This is great, I've always wanted an Amex card! What is the standard credit line for this type of card?? Does anyone have any comments about this card who already has one? Thanks! Tac BTW, they pulled TU and my FAKO per them is now down to just under 700. I took a hit with alot of inquiries recently, time to lay off on the cards....In the past 3 months since cleaning my report this is my 5th credit card and 3 store cards! Most are in the safe with the exception of my BoFA credit card which I do use and pay off at the end of the month.
Congrats tac!! I have the Amex Blue for Business and I think it's awesome! My credit limit is only a little over 5K, but I think they base that upon current obligations and score. I was at 690 and they pulled EQ. That was last November. It really is a good card and I'm happy with it. Again, Congrats to you!! Mysti_Summer
Congrats. They usually start you off at either $2000 or $5000. Call "New Accounts" within the first 30 days of account activation and ask a supervisor for a CL increase. You will need to enroll in "Membership Rewards Options" (free) which has a decent return on point investment - lol! Enjoy the card. I know I do!
I just got blue and was approved for 18800??? they pulled experian.... I was shocked never been approved for more than 2000k with amex
Congrats on the card! I would LOVE to apply for Amex Blue. But, I am too chicken to apply for Amex Blue. I am afraid they will run the Evil Exp, which would pretty much be an automatic denial. NXTP to the MOON Tomorrow!!!!
i only got 9100$ but i have a delta $18000 and Delta $2000 and cash rebate $4000 so i don't really push it. I mean $33K is alot for a company to extend to a single person of my income level, imo. They are risking alot if you think about it i could just f' em all. I've got well over $110K in lines now. i lost track a while ago.
i just got approved a few days ago... i now have over 28k with amex in lines but cant get approved for the charge card... LOL kev
They started me out with $6300 last june. I called for an increase last month and they asked me how much I wanted. I asked for a raise to 10k and was immediately approved for an increase.
