I did go for it. Denied. I had 677 for Experian. I some old derogs, but did not matter. Any other report and I probably would have been approved.
Do you know that it was Experian? I live in Texas and when I applied some time back (when my score stunk), they pulled Equifax.
if you would have tried the amex delta skymiles you would have been approved. The standards are much lower and you can convert to any optima product line. Blue is really nothing special anymore imo. I have the cash rebate card right now, and two business cards (gold, delta skymiles).
