Thread: AMEX Rewards Plus Gold Card

Hi all, what's the main difference between this card and the regular gold card with regard to rewards points? Do you get double points for all purchases with this card? I'm thinking of going for this card when my recent inquiries fall off.

You get 2 points per dollar when you make purchases with participating travel partners (i.e. arilines, hotels, and car rentals) during the first year. After that, you get 1.5 miles for the life of the card.

You can borrow 10,000 points per year

complimentary baggage delay and loss insurance of up to $1,250

Free enrollment in the Membership Rewards program

Jason, is this harder to get than the regular gold card or are the requirements the same?
