I am preaching to the choir and I recognize this but I have just had this year's onslaught of Van Ru Credit Corporation's typical harassment but hopefully I think I've cut them down on the Get Go by Doc's C&D Letter formulated with my own words. Will these people not learn? I've become rather crafty and managed to obtain Ms. Jenny Saboya Corporate (private) internal Extension and Fax number and I let her have it with all guns. One would think these people get tired of paying out Hundreds of Thousands of dollars yearly in penalties and fines but they are, I am convinced they are just stupid.
They do not feel the need to learn. The vast majority of consumers lie down and take it. Until more consumers start filing FDCPA actions, they have no incentive to stop. A few $4,000 settlements here and there barely make a dent in their lunch money account.
