I had an account with First Premier that I paid a settlement offer on. It is marked as Account Closed at Consumers Request, Settlement Accepted on this Account. Any ideas to get this off of my credit report? Date Reported: 03/03 Date Opened: 12/00 Date of Last Activity: 11/01.

Has anyone had any success getting a first premier account deletion?

DH had 2 accounts with them, CR say the same as yours no luck with getting it off Experian, but Equifax and TU deleted. Settled in early 2002 disputed in Mar 03 and came off

I have been dealing with late pays on First Premier for over a year. I was never late, repeat NEVER LATE. After manual reviews the tradeline was deleted from EQ, updated to paid never late on EQ, but EXP... this one is a nightmare. FP is reporting reporting the late pays twice on EXP, once on a card they claim I reported "lost or stolen" and then again with a new card number. I get letters from First Premier saying they received my complaint and I should dispute with the credit bureau to get it fixed, but it never is.... I have given up on this one.

    Don't give up!

This is in the Part B of Sec. 623 (the part that CLEARLY IMHO gives consumers the right to sue).

    (D) if the investigation finds that the information is incomplete or inaccurate, report those results to all other consumer reporting agencies to which the person furnished the information and that compile and maintain files on consumers on a nationwide basis.

    Try it!

I have not had any good luck getting first premier put back on my credit report. Maybe we can switch or something. yours goes off. Mine goes on.

That would be nice to switch! LOL

I am going to try to dispute the payment history on the account since the one link that I read said they delete all payment history if the account is closed with a zero balance! I will update when I find out what happens!

    Thanks ya'll!
