Does anyone have the Associates Secured card? Is it being reported as secured or not?

    Thanks in advance.

    RE: Associates Secured reporte

I have the Washington Mutual Secured card through the Associates of Delaware and it's not reporting AT ALL! :-(

I'm considering dumping this card for the Chase secured. I also talked to several reps and they couldn't give me an estimate on when my account (if ever!) will become unsecured. At least I know that Chase will be unsecured after 18 months of perfect pay history.

I've had an Associates secured card in the past. They reported my card as secured.

    William,

Worry about the card being reported
    Worry about the Annual Fee
    Worry about the interest rates
    Worry about extra fees
Worry about what interest your security earns

But Don't worry about how it's reported, Why?

It doesn't make a bit of difference!

Mortgages are secured, you don't see that hurting people. Some of my clients started with a card issued by Fullerton Savings that reported as Secured, Guess what they have some of the best credit of all my clients!
