    Hi -

I just read one of your posts about how you got a mortgage with scores under 590. I wanted to ask you if you could share the lender's name? I'm also a first-time buyer hoping to buy this winter, early spring. I'm looking for a 100% loan but I'm finding it difficult. My EQUIFAX score is 602 (pulled last week). I am 6 months past Ch-7 BK. I have a steady income of $48k, 3 credit cards (Orchard, Target Guest and a store card retained after BK), student loans and a car loan (all retained). None have been late since filing BK in March 03.

Any advice you have on loan shopping is appreciated!

I would go to some of the mortgage boards and get advice from them (I wish I knew about these forums back then!)

It seems you are in better shape credit wise than we were...now we are doing better, but want to sell and then buy more house!

There's some good broker types over at these sites that might be intersted in helping directly.

Our lender was CIT. I wouldn't recommend them though!
