Just talked to the BOL and they have a secured program with a $300 minimum and only $15 annual fee.

They report to all 3 and don't seem too concerned about past credit. Real friendly people I talked to on the phone.

In order to go unsecured you need 1 year with them and 2 other positive trade lines.

    Hi,

When I saw your post, I had to smile.

My sister had a Bank of Louisiana card in 1994.

She stopped paying it in 1998.

They were the ONLY card that sued her, and believe me, she had alot of cards.

Her credit limit at that time was 300.00

They were so agressive that they called me, my mom, her boss, and 3 of our neighbors trying to find her.

I had to laugh, because when they sued her, the lawyer fees were about 900.00.

She ended up paying 1200 for a 300 card.

The phone numbers are 800-666-6737 toll free or
    504-889-9400.

    Their website is: www.bankoflouisiana.com

They prefer to mail you an app instead of applying online because you need to sign a security agreement.

Interest rate is 18% on the card.

    Hope this helps.
