Thread: Bank One buys Circuit City Visas

Yesterday, I received a letter saying my Circuit City Visa will become a Bank One Visa starting in August. They will send me a new card with the Bank One name.

Do you think this will have a positive effect in our credit files? Maybe now I'm a bank One customer, I can get them to stop reporting my other account as IIB instead of Charge Off.

Ya the offical changeover to Bank One occured a few weeks ago (I work for Circuit City). All new cards now are bank one. They still use FNANB for everything, just now Bank One owns them. They did make a few changes like now there are 2 cards kind of like target, a store card, and a store visa card.
