Does anyone know of any really good bt offers out there, such as 0% till BT is paid off, or 0% for a year? I would like to use that offer to payoff my current auto loan which is ~5K @ 11%. Also, do CCC perform BTs to loans? Or would I have to use checks? Thanks.

Is your credit VERY good? Try Fleet Titanium card.

They have the arbitration provision in their terms and agreements though!

Citibank has some good offers too ... 3.9% until BT is paid off ; but perhaps only for current card members.

My DH did this with his '95 Blazer; he had the truck financed through PeoplesFirst at nice used car rate of 6.9%. He used a BT check from Citibank (made out to himself) to lower the rate to 3.9% for the life of the transfer.

BUT he wishes he had stuck with PeoplesFirst because PeoplesFirst was not reporting to any of his credit reports so he had 5K in debt not showing. He then BT's to Citibank causing his debt ratio to go up. Now he wants to refin the mortgage and his score took a small hit.

You would be closing a car loan (installment) to move it to revolving debt and if you open a new account your score could take a hit. Just something to keep in mind.
