Thread: Can creditors call you on Sunday?

I missed a payment to Sears. Just my absentmindedness...


They have been calling non-stop for a week. They have called times today (Sunday). Isn't it a no-no for them to call you on Sunday?

As far as I know, the only limits a collector has with regard to calling is to not make repeated phone calls with the intent to annoy. Times allowable I believe are 8 am til 9 pm. However, that is under the FDCPA and Sears is an OC. So, I think they have the right to call.
