A couple of monthes ago, after some heavy disputing my updated TU report showed my addy as 2 Baldwin Place, Chester PA. Lol thats TU's addy so I sent a letter and said I wanted rent from them! A week later it was deleted. Now I do my creditpull last night and there I am at 2 Baldwin Place, Chester PA yet again. Hmmmm......... Really gives you faith in thier accuracy of reporting doesn't it? hehehehe, think I ask for a deposit and back rent now since they've not paid me a dime! Tegleg
This is really not that complicated. Furnishers of information provided the address to TU, you had it deleted, and the next month the same furnisher updated one of your accounts, which included the Baldwin Place address, and it reappeared. So one of your current trade lines, or an old one, has the Baldwin street address on their system. Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to find out which creditor/collector that is....
I recall that it first happened when I disputed old names and addys off TU. I had sent a letter addy'd to them first, (that had the Baldwin place addy)below that was my name and current addy and then the subject line of name and addy disputes followed by the body of the letter. I included a copy of my DL for id. When they deleted the old addys thats when TU's addy popped up as mine. So when I sent the letter to them I was going to charge rent they changed it back to my addy shortly after. So I thought that was done. About 2 monthes ago I sent the pre HIPPA letter to TU about some med ca's on my account that were IIB but not reporting as such. I sent it CMRR and received the green card back. I had no reply to this after 45 days so I filed a FTC complaint per thier refusal to investigate and sent a copy of that with another letter asking them to investigate it. Now they have deleted the med ca's but changed my addy back to TU's. Thats the only thing I can figure out. So I guess I will encounter this everytime I dispute something? I am tempted just to leave it for now. It's become a conversation peice! Lol Tegleg
