Do you have to pay the rest of your bill after its been cancelled by the creditor and how does that remark affect your credit report?
You still have to pay the balance. If you don't, they can send it to collections and come after you. I think there's some debate about how bad an "account closed by credit grantor" is, but it's better than a charge off, which is what will happen if you don't pay the account.
