(IF) Could be a big IF I never noticed this while applying for the card. So I have no statement to go by yet. Could this be something they add on as they see fit? I wondered if any Cap 1 holders have noticed a monthly fee on their accounts.
Not sure about the credit but I tried to cancel my card and it becomes effective "Once a billing cycle hits with a zero balance". Well, I sent my payment on the 5th, billing cycle is today so if they didn't get my payment in the mail then my account is open until Feb 18! They tried to charge me $6 a month, after griping at them they agreed to drop it down to $3 a month. So I think you'll get the credit once your card becomes "officially closed" GT
Do they do this on all their cards are just certain ones? I do not remember seeing this when I applied and when I received the card their was no disclosure insert with it. Any card I have ever received has an insert w/ terms & conditions. Thanks
So this membership fee is the annual fee? I thought it was 2 separate fees. I may have had an anxiety attack for nothing.
