Hey All,

Glad to see everyone's successes. I myself went from 494 on TU to 595! Woohoo!
But I have Cap 1 Kmart card and just got my first increase of 500 via Mr Cooke aka DA MAN.
But I would like a Visa from them. Is it too soon to apply for a Visa or should wait a few months after this increase. I just want to have a Visa and Mastercard from them. They seem to be the only one giving me any play. I plan not to apply for anything until June, so I hate to waste an inquiry if I don't have chance.

Re: Capital One Question??????

Annie, I had three Cap1 cards(just combined them to one) started with a $200 classic...I think you definately have a shot! Go For it! Then every couple of months you can request Mr. Cooke to give you an increase...my three combined are now $1900...Good Luck and let us know what happens! http://www.capitalone.com

Re: Capital One Question??????

Just remember that affinity cards cannot be combined. Like a Kmart Mastercard (affinity card) and a regular Capital One Mastercard cannot be combined. Good luck !

Capital One has a policy in place where you need to wait at least 45 days between applications, but I know of no policy set where you have to wait x amount of days before applying for another card. Remember if you plan to combine in the future, you won't be able to with the Kmart affinity card.
