I've had all of the cards for at least several years. I've had the United and one USAirways for over a decade and a half.

I really couldn't tell you what the requirements or initial limits are now.

Both the Marriott and my second USAirways started with between $20-25K, but it's been at least three years, maybe more since I got them.
