Catalog Offer - Clifford &

    I have had several CreditMania vistors ask about an offer from a catalog called Clifford & Willis. Can anyone tell me about their experiences? What is it? Is it something to add to the "Alert" file?

    Do you mean Clifford & Wills? I don't what the offer is, but I can tell you a little about the company. It is a women's apparel company (catalog only, I think) that has been recently purchased by Spiegel. The company is legit. If they are offering a card that is specifically branded Clifford & Wills, I would assume that it is like the Spiegel, Eddie Bauer and Newport News cards that can be used interchangably with all these catalogs. I'm just speculating here, but if it is Clifford & Wills, I doubt it is a scam.

    clifford and willis is a catalog that is offer by spiegel, newport news and eddie bauer the reason I know I have the Newport News Credit card is issued with FCNB which is First Consumers National Bank. They also offer credit cards for Eddie bauer, Newport News which they call the prefered card. Also you can use the card at the eddie bauer store like I have in the past. And you can use the credit card to order from spiegle and Newport News catalogs.

    Barry, you get solicited for this one after spiegel which is after FCNB for about 2 yrs./

    They were gonna give me up to $825 credit line - BUT - it is a womens catalog. I pitched it.

    FCNB (last I heard) will not allow more than one account with their "bank". FCNB offers secured Visa/Mastercards, but they also offer the Eddie Bauer, Speigel, Newport News, and Clifford/Wills (all with high interest rates). If you have one, you will not qualify for the other. But they can all be used interchangeable in any of the above named catalogs.

    I have an FCNB mc WITH A $2700 LIMIT.
    FCNB sent me their pre approved spiegel.
    I have gotten pre approved offers from both Newport News and Clifford and Willis also.

    If you pay well with FCNB, they send these offers out to you.
