I applied for 0% BT for 12 months and they denied me because excessive inquiries. They count the number of inquiries within 12 months instead of 6 months and I got 7 inquiries. Ron.
Ron.. how come you applied for a BT... you always indicate you don't have a balance to transfer?? I don't mean that the way it probably sounds... I'm just amazed at the amount of cards and great terms you are able to get. I was just turned down for a card because of too many recently opened accounts and I wonder if you've ever got that reason for a denial??? ( I really don't mean that in a rude tone.. I just couldn't figure out a better way to say it!) Ozzy.
Gerorge, Do you remeber I got 2 offers from Chase? I applied on the website and I got my application needed further review. I checked back today and they immediately processed my application. They told me too many inquiries within 12 months. Oh well, another inquiry in my TransUnion reprt. They told me there is nothing wrong with my credit and tried it to apply later this year. I told them No thanks. Ron.
George...I saw a Citi card that had 0% for 12 and no annual fee, but then a pretty high go to rate. At least I think that was the terms. I'm sure its been discussed here already, but just in case...I bookmarked the link...its the Platinum Select and AOL will make a buck or two if you use this link: http://citi.bridgetrack.com/usc/12S...D8FE6EFEFF335431&referral=4T3ZA6425AOC4U21P0W
