Chase Stockback card, nice!!! I recently switched over to this card from the Chase iCard and I'm glad I did because I got an email offer a few days ago: Fill up at Sunoco gas stations and get an extra 7 cents per gallon added to your Stockback rewards account. If you fill up 3 or more times (at least 8 gallons) you get a $10 bonus. BTW this offer is only valid this month, but it's still pretty good. Did anyone else get this offer ? I think this card blows away Discover in terms of cash back. It would take thousands of dollars in spending on the Discover card to get $10 back. Any thoughts or comments on this card or cash back cards in general ?
Re: Chase Stockback card, nice!!! Steve - haven't received the offer yet - but I like the card. Also - they post your cash rewards every month. CS seems good too.
Re: Chase Stockback card, nice!!! I'll call and find out about that because it would be a great benefit on top of the rewards program. Does anyone know if the 7.99% fixed rate applies to all Chase cards (including rewards cards) ?
Re: Chase Stockback card, nice!!! It does appear to be a great card. I actually wanted to trade my Platinum for the Stockback Platinum. They weren't able to do it (trade) at that time. I would have had to apply for the card separately. Instead, I traded for the Shell Platinum. Another great product. Rebates are posted each month to your account statement. If I apply for another card, I think it would be the Stockback card. -I would also like to know how low Chase will go on reward cards. I'd like to get my interest reduced. I tried before, but I think my account was too new at that time. I will try again and post if I have success. If anyone else has success, please post. Lower apr's with Chase reward cards seem to be a mystery.
Re: Chase Stockback card, nice!!! The lowest reward card apr I've seen is with AmEx Blue at 9.99% and recently MBNA Quantum at 9.99%. I just don't think they get any lower than that - for rewards, that is...
