Wow they gave me a CL of $500, my scores average about 670. Anybody have any luck increasing CL before activation??

I got a "TOY" card from STATE FARM VISA...I CLOSED IT BEFORE I ACTIVATED IT!!!

They called me at work (VIOLATION)...I told them I have no credit cards under $5,000..."IF" you want my business...it must be $5,000...he said FINE...I will send you a new card...

I later closed it FOR THE LAST TIME because they RENEGED ON THEIR 3.90% (I THINK) BT

I have a$500 capital. If I cancel the card before activation, will it hurt my score and will I have to pay the annual fee?

They will CREDIT the annual fee...

    Score...I DON'T KNOW...

I have 25+ years of HISTORY so closing a "TOY" card did NOTHING (or minimal) TO ME!!!

NOTE...A "TOY" CREDIT CARD IS SPECIFIC TO EACH PERSON...MY "LOWEST" CREDIT LIMIT WAS $5,000...SO ME GETTING A CREDIT LIMIT AT 80% UNDER MY LOWEST CREDIT LIMIT ($1,000)...WAS STUPID!!! The term "TOY" card was INVENTED here at that time (STATE FARM)!!!

"IF" you have not been give a credit card that is 80% or 90% LOWER THAN YOUR LOWEST CREDIT LIMIT...you do not have a "TOY" card...

Yeah, I applied online and didnt get instant approval, but received an email a couple days later saying that I had been approved for a $2k limit. I called and found out that I had 0% for 9 months on BT(I forgot what I had applied for...LOL). I advised them that $2k wouldnt be enough, that my balances on my other card were higher than that. They immediately doubled the limit to $4k. I then proceeded with the BT.

    Lonergr66,

Juniper Bank approved me $500 TOY VISA and they closed my account after they pulled my Experian credit report this year. They closed my account because too high balances (poor excuses).
