DOES ANYONE HAVE THE WALMART MASTERCARD FROM CHASE BANK. MY WIFE RECIEVED A CARD FROM THEM TODAY WITH A $2000.00 LIMIT AND A VARIABLE APR OF 10.08%. AND NO ANNUAL FEE, THE CARD IS UGLY AND I dont like the idea of having a variable rate. THE REP SAID SHE COULDNT GIVE HER A FIXED RATE.DOES ANY BODY HAVE THIS CARD IS CHASE A GOOD BANK TO DO BUISNESS WITH. SOME ONE PLEASE HELP ME.
Thats a very respectable rate. Maybe after a couple of months they will let you switch to a better rate. Or write a letter via planet feedback.
Chase is a very respectable bank. Just about everything is variable now, which is good as rates decline. Cards that are "fixes" rarely are - lots of us had Fleet cards that were "fixed" at 7.99. Anyone out there still have that rate on a permanent basis? If the prime shot up 2-3%, I promise you all the 9.99% fixed cards would be sending out notices that rates were going up. -mj
