I started only a month ago.

So far heres what i got...

letter from gulf state, will delete collection acct (at&t). i disputed, not mine.

email from library, will have collection deleted. I paid it, then drove her nuts to get their CA to delete it after posting it as paid collection.

bestbuy collection, i paid it off in 96, but they failed to report that. I called them, they updated as paid. still a paid collection, but falls off in feb. (Should I call bestbuy and see if they will delete it early since they reported it wrong for 6 yrs? or just wait it out)

Sears charge-off, deleted today. was from 12/95.

Any advice on dealing with the RMA for that same sears acct? They have my DLA as 8/96, which is wrong of course. Right now it is 'consumer dispute-reinvestigation in process' on equifax.

Not bad for less than a month.

I'm still a newbie, but I can attest that being PROACTIVE pays off!

Way to go, trout!!! Dispute that Best Buy as obsolete. A lot of times they will delete if its under six months until it is supposed to come off anyway :)

Anyone have any ideas to get the RMA fixed?
Anyone have any luck with RMA and them reaging accounts? The original creditor is dropping from my reports already.
