I don't know if there's some technical problem or a policy change, but you should check your credit report(s) and make sure the limit is still being reported. I checked mine and found it's been wiped out on both Equifax (the "H/C = C/L" notation is gone) and TU (C/L and H/C = $0) meaning $3500 (->$5000) has been wiped out from the FICO calculation (my utilization shot from around 20% -> mid 40s on EQ alone). I hope they're not adopting Crapital One's notorious policies when it comes to this.

I'm seeing this as well but only on TU so far...

No CL listed on TU here either...

My CL and highest amt notation is wiped out on EQ on my BOA acct! Could this be a glitch on EQ's part or has BOA joined the CrapOne game???

I have been experiencing the same thing for months at equifax on different accounts. The coincidence is that whatever inquiry I disputed online with equifax, the cl fell off that account. Did you all dispute inqs associated with the accounts that have had the cl dropped on equifax.

Oh the other thing I did was pay down both the balances on dh citi cards and then dispute the balance so it would update. It did but without the credit limit. I finally have all cl back on but it took months. Don't believe equifax if they send you a report with cl back on until you pull your report and see it yourself. They can restore them but it doesn't show to you or those who pull your credit. Then they blame the creditor.

Here's the interesting point (since you brought it up)..."somebody" disputed the account on all three CRAs...I have no idea who, for what, and (on Equifax) what the outcome of whatever the dispute was. The only thing I can think of was a quadruple charge that I disputed months ago (and the dispute was resolved months ago), otherwise, I have no clue what the heck is going on with them. The account reports correctly on Experian, but since they also have it marked as "in dispute", it isn't counted in FICO either (seems like the information was shared, whatever it is).

You are probably going to have to get citi to restore it. Equifax was useless and did smoke and mirrors with the report. I would look at the report online with pg or my fico and tell them the cl is not on it, and they would tell they were looking at it on my report and even send me one with it showing. They are a sneaky lot.

I just got off the phone with Citibank...the associate that I spoke to had no idea what was going on. I called mainly to ask about the phantom dispute that's showing on two CRAs and she informed me that there is NO open dispute on my account. She had no clue why the credit limit vanished either, but she did give me the fax number/address of Citibank's credit reporting department. My other computer (the one with scanner access) is out of comission until next week so I'll have to wait until then to send in whatever information I've got. Hopefully when the TL updates on Equifax in the next few days it'll fix itself.

As for TU, I think they're having problems that we're not privy to. A number of people are posting that other lenders accounts haven't updated in months (three, myself). Did anyone hear if their database was wiped out or something?

I have the same problems with TU. HELOC $30000 paid (shows open w/ balance) paid off Nov 03, HEL $60000 (shows open w/ balance) paid off Nov 03, CITI $13500 CL = N/A

Needless to say my utilization shows 77% on PG with TU when it's actually 25%

    This really sucks
I checked my PG and TU shows my Quickencard as zero credit and zero high limit and of course I have a balance on it sucking up the teaser offer.
I was going to apply for BofA biz tomorrow but now I am sure my utilization is taking a hit.

.The reason for this is to falsely increase your utilization so the creditors and insurers can jack your rates.

They never take it off the report when we make it right so why should we take it off the docket when they do??

    ><- <>- ><- <> ~~~ ><- <>- ><- <> ><- <>- ><- <> ~~~ ><- <>- ><- <>
More proof that FICO is a CON.

    Re: Citibank card holders

Someone on CB said that the problem might be with PG and not with TU...is the limit showing up correctly on a report from TU themselves (or from myfico)?

I'd check mine but I'm pretty sure they haven't updated yet for this month (PG isn't showing anything updated since January)...don't want to waste the $10.xx on an "old" report.

I checked and I have both citi accounts showing no cl. and dh has all 3 showing no cl. I am upset. They have been put back on and they fall off at updates I guess. I bought tu for dh and it shows no cl on it so its not just pg. I am talking about tu, all other reports show limits on all accounts.

I asked around and nobody has answered...does Equifax still have the "amount in high credit column is credit limit" statement attached to the Citibank tradeline(s)?

Seems odd how the issue is only affecting TU.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Citibank card holde

I pulled a TU from my FICO this morning and the CL column was blank.
I don't know what my score was before this morning but would have been pretty similar to what it was this morning.
I have seen some people saying that they took a hit in score because of the line not factoring.
To be on the safe side I disputed the CL this morning and paid the account off for the next time it reports in a couple of weeks.
This really sux though because my Quickencard has pretty signifcant CL that I can take to 50% and not get slapped by FICO.

Everyone en masse needs to call citi retention and complain.
