I just received my results back from Experian that I disputed. The Status is correct but the Date Resolved is incorrect . Question: Is this a cause to dispute it again and possibly get it deleted if they can't report the correct date? ? Suggestions are appreciated. What is the procedure on how to handle this?
I think we need a little more information. What was it that you were disputing? Why did you dispute it the first time? What is the 'date resolved' and what should it be? Hopefully with a bit more information someone here can get you the help you need Brett
I am disputing a CH 13 dismissal and the date resolved on my credit report states 9/2003 actually it should be 1/2003. Thank you
If you want to get rid of it, you might try disputing as 'not mine' first. Of course, if you've already disputed this for another reason then you've kind of 'self verified' the entry and the CRA probably won't let that go through without a bit of a fight. You could try disputing just the date resolved, but more than likely they will just update that date rather than delete the whole thing. HTH, Brett
