Creditors taking me to court???

I'm in some minor debt and inbetween jobs right now. Got a notice from my old bank about my credit card account with them. Here is what it said:

"Your account is scheduled to charge-off as bad debt, by the 21st of this month. As soon as the account charges off, it will be forwarded to our Recovery Department for legal action.

If your account is charged off, there could be added court costs and legal fees. It will also be reported to the Credit Bureau as a 'Profit and Loss' account."

Is this bull or can they actually take me to court? My credit is ****ed unless I win the lotto in the next week and pay of my approximately $6000 in total debt. Bankruptcy is only $500.

What do you guys think? And remember this is my CREDIT not debit card.

Thanks
