Re: Please Answer
I had the best luck by waiting until my accounts were paid in full. I had several late pays on an auto loan. I emailed (never talked on the phone with anyone). I was nice from the get go, but I never gave a sob story, I said I was never late so prove it. We went back and forth for a while and I got mean. I said remove the lates or get sued. I got a response withing a day saying they would remove the lates and put it to an I1.
I had a charge off deleted by giving an "I don't remember this account but I'll pay if you delete" story, they bought it and it's gone.
I had an R9 changed to n R5 by giving a sob story about how I was young and foolish and didn't realize how credit would affect my future BLAH BLAH BLAH.
Mind you these accounts were already settled or paid off before I did any of this (except the middle one). Start off nice then get mean. It's not worth a lawsuit to them. I actually used the method Lizardking used for his car company, search for LizardKing car letter (it was in April of this year). GOOD LUCK!
