Default Judgment

    Well, I am officially up to two successful default judgements in Federal Court.

    Successful meaning that you filed suit and they never showed?

    The good thing is that I can use all the things that they can't because I am a lowly consumer... :) Calling their toll-free number 24/7, and all those good stuff... If I can't collect, at least I can add the digits onto their phone bill...

    That's awesome!! Glad to see that they are getting the "bad" end of the stick for a change!

    Ironically, both defaults were against companies using the "We are process servers trying to serve you with a summons, contact the plaintiff at 1-xxx-xxx-xxxx." scam.

    I find process serving is so much more effective when it's the U.S. Marshall's and Clerk of the Court's offices doing the serving... ;)
