    Herman,

I received an Discover Gold card offer about a year ago when they first roll out in Sept 2000. I got approved for $6000 and I got $20 credit back to the account when I used it exceed $2000 last year. They increased my credit limit from $6000 to $7000 without hard inquiry. I request to lower my rate for Discover Gold Card and they gave me 0% APR until June.

    Thanks Ron,

The thing holding me backed is their 2 billing cycle which not very competative to my current circumstances, also the Gold vs the Plat seems contradictable to each other, which to apply?

    How does two-cycle billing work?

    Love,

Two-cycle billing With the two-cycle method, the average daily balance is calculated from two billing cycles rather than one and finance charges are typically higher This method, in effect, wipes out the grace period for customers who carry a balance. If the bill is not paid in full at the first billing, interest becomes retroactive back to the purchase date. Most credit card issuers use the single-cycle average daily balance method to calculate finance charges.

    Herman,

All Disovercard have 2 Billing cycle.Discover Gold Card didn't give you cash bonus and if you don't use the incredments of $2000, you will not get any credit back to account. Discover Paltinum gave you cash bonus even if you don't use increments 0f $2000.
