I have been in contact with discover card to remove an unauthorized inquiry without much success. I have contacted their CR/supervisors/managers, Credit dept, Credit bureau disputes dept, PFB and BBB. None of these efforts worked.
CR/supervisors/managers - There is nothing we can do, we are not authorized to remove inquiries the dept that does that is CBD but both you and i cant contact them by phone......
Credit dept - We can pull reports but to remove inquiries you need to call CBD
CBD- sends 2 standard letters which basically says we dont remove inquiries if you want to dispute them contact CRA
PFB - goes to a high school kid who emails you to contact their 1 800 number
BBB - no response from company
Any success stories in dealing with Discover?
