So let me get this straight...I am at a restaurant (that I jogged to) and after I eat, I pull out this thing, remove all the cash and my ID from the clip, and hand the waiter my car keys attached to a credit card that flips out of a protective plastic case, and he/she takes it to the station and swipes it through the machine?????

Yeah that was a brilliant invention.

Hey Discover, ever hear of a money clip?

No no - you don't get it

The card is on a keyring that detatched from the other keys. Since it's a card, why use the moneyclip and carry cash anyway :)

I've been using it for a month now, and it's great - especially in summer. I'm walking the dog, have to make a quick stop at the convienence store - violla, no hassel.

Since it does make your "set" of keys a little larger- the arguement could be made that you're LESS likely to lose your keys. Heck, with the Audi fob on one end (love it, don't 'ya dog!!) and the Disco2go on the other, if I dropped my keys, I'd hear and feel it!

Seriously, though, I do like it. I wish Amex would have come up with it.

It's a little bigger than the SpeedPass, but it works on any card reader/register and isn't associated with ExxonMobil (who I'm boycotting).

Does one keychain cover all your Discover accounts or do you need one for each Discover card you have ?

Hmm... guess you could daisy chain them but it would probably be a little noisy :)

The "card" inside of the keychain is the same as my "regular" Disco card - same account#, same CID on the back - everything. You could even take it out and it's just a miniture version of the same card.

So if you have multiple accounts, you need multiple 2go's, I would think.

I have one and they send me two cards and a Discover2Go card keychain. It's nice looking and it took a month to get it. By the way never use it because I'm afraid to lose it.

    Oh I get it...

You still have to hand the waiter this wierd "device", not just a normal credit card (no biggie). But more importantly, that is why I wrote "jogged" into the restaurant...if you drive, don't you need an ID (license)...so that means you need the clip to take at least ONE card (your license) to the "money clip" on this device. Since I need one card, why not take 2 (take the card of my choice clipped to my ID), and keep my keys separate.

I think this "gimmick" is for other people than me. My money clip carries a couple cards, some cash, my ID and it fits quite nicely in a separate pocket from my keys.

I understand your likeing it, it just does not "suit" me, that is all.

I DON'T HAVE ONE...but I would NOT give it at a RESTAURANT...I would use the "REGULAR" card...

You could use it at a store where you can "slide" your own card...
