Since the original creditor is reporting the debt on the credit reports, does that mean that they have to validate and follow the FCRA even though they are the original creditors???

Help!! I have gotton a little confused about this issue in the last couple of days.I want to send a val. letter, but not sure if i should send it to the CA collecting for FMC or to FMC directly.

I already sent the CA a C&D letter to and they have complied......(it was to stop the daily phone calls from the woman who called me a "proffesional debitor" and they maybe if i started paying my bills then people would stop calling me.....) Mind you, this was my hubbies debt, not mine,we were not married at the time. She also told me she was going to garnish my hubbies wages and asked me if i cared that my children would go hungry!!!!

Sorry,I really hate this woman.I really hate this CA....
I get very upset just thinking about this miserable excuse for a human..

Yowza! That's a whole passel of violations! Did you happen to get the troglodytes name?

If you have it, file a motion for supoena of that day's audio records. Remember: This call may be recorded for quality assurance. If you get just her's then you're good. If you supoena the whole office's, they'll be so many violations that you'll OWN that company!

Hammer 'em good for all of us!

Oh yeh, i got her name and I even gave her a couple of new names......lol
I still want to send off that validation....Does it go to the bit*h or to FMC.Once i send off validation,i am sure i can get these people on a slew of other violations.I will also have a nice paper trail . I just want this stupid thing to go away!! It was from 1995 and they want to keep it on the report untill 7-2003.....

I'm sure they weren't new names....I'm pretty confident I've used most of 'em discussing my ex-wife!

Please, when you rack up a bunch more violations, don't settle for just deletion. Make 'em pay you $$$$. Hopefully, they'll make up the profit margin by firing her and she can start having the creditors making her phone ring all day long!
