I think they are giving us bad info. I believe this applies only on auto and home loans.


Not getting approved for
the card you want?

1. Apply for another card in the same category

Credit card companies all have different credit guidelines. Your credit profile may be just right for a different company. You can apply to more than one credit card without affecting your credit rating as long as your applications occur within the same 30 day window of time.

Right. You know, LKH, everyone who wants to pull your credit file insists that their inquiry is different, and will not hurt your score. LOL.

I understand multiple inquiries will not hurt if say applying for an auto loan. But, I would think multiple credit apps could add up to beat down ones score. May be wrong, proceed with caution.
