Hello everyone. I am looking to consolidate my debt under one account. I have a FICO of 695 on my TU report. I have a BK 7 discharged 2 years ago. I just applied for the Generations bank LOC. I am not sure though if I will get it. Anyone has experience with BK-friendly creditors that would approve a LOC of 6K? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.
I just got off the phone with Generations Bank. They just approved me for their visa, 2.5K limit. Yoohooo! Since nobody seemed to reply on post, I was thinking I didnt have a chance getting. I am so happy! And my BK was discharged exactly 2 years ago. The guy on the phone told me that is their border line, so I just made it. The apr is 15.9%, which is not that bad. And I do believe that it reduces 3% every year, if you make payments on time. Anyway, just wanted to share the good news with you guys. I have to admit that someone on the board said that they are not BK friendly. Obviously they are! I think it has to do a lot with the actual credit score. If it is decent, you have more chances of getting approved. Thank you CNET!
