Thread: EQ Score Question

My EQ score dropped 22 points after a Sears trade line was deleted. The trade line was listed as included in bankruptcy. Just wondering how my score would drop after deletion. Another note EQ also updated my address, however they say personal info does not affect your score.

Was it one of your oldest accounts? Length of credit history matters, and may color how other factors such as total debt to available credit are weighted.

It was a relatively older account, opened in 1992 and discharged in 1999. I still have an 18 yr credit history with EQ.
