After an approx. 45 day in answering one of my disputes, I called CSC (aka Equifax) today. Talk about the most insolent, ignorant operators! The first person I talked to did nothing but insult me, lie to me and accuse me of lying to her. I had all the paperwork right in front of me showing their non-compliance. She claimed to have the same reports showing they had complied. When I asked for a copy, she simply said "we have it on file if there is any question." Get a clue, lady. Anyway, I talked to a supervisor and explained my next step was filing a complaint or suit. She was actually very professional, though she did not promise to remove the tradeline in question. GET THIS -- She went through all my past disputes with me and over 75% of them were showing the wrong reason for dispute. All but two of them are gone from the report, but what incompetence! EQ had actually removed two positive tradelines because they said I disputed as "not mine". The supervise put them back. So I did get a little concession. That bunch is an embarrassment to themselves. Time to file a complaint. Sorry so long.
NO, I'm not a Stooges expert . . . but I just saw someone quoting a few lines from a Stooges short titled STUDIO STOOPS: STOOGE:"what's the matter operator? Will I hang on? What do you THINK i'll do, let go? Do you think I'm silly? OPERATOR:"Wer're sorry. We cannot give out that information." . . . . SO, stooges must not be related to the evil EQ operator. Ok, Ok, back to work now.
