The web page now states "Credit Report with Optional Score" on the page where you request a report. There is a note on "How often do I need to request my score".

Also, EQ let me pull 3 reports in a twelve hour period. Normally you are limited to one every 24 hours.

I can access a new credit report, but my "optional" score returns a DNS error.

I have been getting the same scenario all morning. I called Equifax and they told me that maybe too many people are trying to access scores, my translation for that was.. I do not know why the system is not working and I am too lazy to really go and find out so why don't you just get off the phone and try and again and if it does not work call back and I hope you do not get me so that I really have to get off my lazy A$$.

I think they are doing maintenance during business hours.

Any how I can now access my score and you can pull a new report as often as you want.

We will see if that causes more 45D errors.

i just pulled my report . i believe they are trying to suggest that you dont necessarily have to get a score with your report everyday... when you pull report and score it puts 2 CW soft inq's on your report.. i think there trying to limit this by saying your score will possibly change only once a month..

I pulled one at about midnight, and just now was able to get another. This is great. Now I can get those last few hard inq's off a little sooner. LOL

Neo, I was not able to get my score before. I just tried after your post. My score as of 7/30 was 476 as of 7/31 it is 488, I am still looking to see what changed and how I got the 12 points, not like I am complaining

Okay, I just pulled my report (it finally updated my disputes, without deleting anything...yea). I no longer have the score stimulator, just the icky old four reasons for your score.

Does anyone else have this or am I the only one?

I am really interested in the score stimulator. Does this cost extra?

Dani, I still have the score simulator. The one where you can input #s and see how changes would affect your score.

LKH - I tried pulling my report 3 times with score but it only generated the same 2 inquiries as usual. I didn't end up with 6 inquiries like I thought I would, so I guess I can't hurry up the process. :-(

I do like the changes, though because then you can apply for a card and check to see if they pulled an inquiry through equifax right away.

just tested this, pulled my report 4 times.

1st time, received Credit Report with Optional Score, checked score link.

1 soft inquiry hit (Equifax later updates this to 2 inquiries when the computers batch processes at night)

when you check your score, it changes from Credit Report with Optional Score to Credit Report with Score.

2nd time, received Credit Report with Optional Score, checked score link

2 soft inquiry links (1 new, 1 from first time)

3rd time, received Credit Report with Optional Score, checked score link

    2 soft inquiry links (2 old - from 1st and 2nd time)

4th time, received Credit Report with Optional Score, checked score link

    2 soft inquiry links (2 old - from 1st and 2nd time)

See where I am getting at? It doesn't pay to check your report more than 2 times.

You can pull another credit report as long as you check the score for the current report.

I thought inquiries produces through you requesting your credit report did not hurt you. Are you saying they do?

You guys are lucky. I tried to pull mine this morning and I got some dumb message. I have tried all day and it will not even try to pull- it just brings up the message. I am stuck now.

We're sorry! We are experiencing unusually high volumes and are unable to immediately process your request.

We have captured your order and our system will continue to retry processing attempts. You will be notified via e-mail when your order transaction has been completed

I've been getting the same message on mine, my husbands and my daughters report, and since she rarely pulls hers, it can't be because her file is too large.

Wish I had a score stimulator, would really help me get a rise out of credit, never know if it will peak or not but it would be fun trying it. It just might explode.

"YOUR SCORE MAY NOT CHANGE DAILY"~~~SO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess that means that they DON'T want you to use the "UNLIMITED" part of it...because they want the money you paid...but NOT give you what you paid for!!!
