Got my Equifax back today. What a disappointment. Anyway, it shows a PRM (promotional inquiry) from a company called Name Seeker, Inc. Who the heck are they? Never heard of them.
Never heard of them, but it sounds like an consumer investigation group huh? George is right, call EQF, but it sounds like a great reason to call the OPT OUT number and make it where people can not access your info without permission.
My first thought was a CA... Maybe they do a search of ALL credit reports of a given city, or a person with a given name... EVEN IF THEY REMOVE IT "NO QUESTIONS ASKED", I WOULD ASK FOR AS MUCH INFORMATION AS THEY WILL GIVE YOU ON THE COMPANY...
