Looking at my spouse's report from TU - and there was a hard inquiry from Equifax..... why would they pull the report from another agency?? Any insights??

    Thanks,

If I'm not mistaken I think Equifax has their own collection agency. That could be why.

But we've never had anything in collection. This inquiry was in 2/00, so it's gonna come off soon anyway, but it's still bizarre to me.

How does it read? Equifax has several subsidiaries that do investigations for employment, insurance, etc.

Dont take anything I say personal. You can not detect the tone of my voice from a computer monitor so you shouldnt think I was inferring it was a dumb question. I try to help NOT hurt people's feelings.....Good luck!
