Thread: Experian request problems

I was able to get my other reports for my husband and myself sent to us for free but experian says I have to request in writing...why is it so difficult with them? They say it's because I live near a local bureau office...if you call 3 hours away living near. That's bull!

I was able to obtain my Experian report online from....www.truecredit.com...easily and for $7.95/maybe possible for you too.

No, it says I live near the bureau (or some lame, but close, message) and to contact them in writing. It's a message that pops up after I fill in all the information on their site and hit submit. It's so stupid!

That's strange. I live about 5 miles from Experian and always request mine online without any errors. However, I do have a problem with them verifing information by phone with creditors. Then I call the creditor and they say that they can't really verify the info, only can say that's what is on the computer!
