I just got my first result -actually better than a deletion. I disputed a charge off that was paid to a CA that purchased the debt as not mine. Instead of having the TL removed, it came back as a zero balance and now shows paid as agreed and is a positive.

My question is this - what should I do to the other 2 CRAs since I only disputed at the one? Can I send them a copy of this report and tell them to update to that? Sounds too easy - I am a little afraid of disputing this TL again if I don't have to.

The bureaus won't update based on each other's information, and I would guess that's against the law anyway - they are supposed to verify information directly with the OC or CA. So I think you're going to have to go ahead and dispute with the other two bureaus. Good luck!

i just figured out that the tl that was updated to a zero balance and changed the status to pays as agreed was not an account that was disputed with that agency - what the he!! ?

Does it still show as a CA account.?
If So it is still a NEG and a ding on your report.
There is no such thing as a paid as agreed collection .

It is a positive all the way around. It was not a collection at any point. It was a charged off credit card that I actually paid to a CA that never did report it.

    OK
So who's reporting it as paid as agreed now?
