    Most important was the statement:
"The 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, Schiller found, has held that reporting agencies must do more than "merely parrot information received from other sources."
I have heard that line of BS more times than I care to shake a stick at!
Just like the plaintiff in this case, I once had a debt that did not belong to me listed on my bureau. That account was open when I was 5 yrs old in a state I had never lived in! Geez!!! It still took six months to fix!

THE CRA'S ACCEPT EVERYTHING FROM THE CREDIT CARD/LOAN COMPANIES...NO QUESTIONS ASKED...AND NO PROOF REQUIRED...

NOW IF YOU WANT TO DISPUTE SOMETHING...

    "verified"

    That is downright laughable.

The same way CRAs "verify" late payments and high usage quicker than on-time payments and pay-offs.

I just BT a balance ten days ago and it is on my report today - yet a payoff from year ago has yet to show. AMAZING!

This should explain why people have such a hard time getting deragatory errors off their reports. If a guy can't even prove he's alive, how can we prove an account isn't ours?????????

And even if we can prove it, they just disregard it and say it's FRIVOLOUS.
